Aaron Sang is a husband, a father, and a salesman. But before he was any of that, he wanted to be Tony Stark and make robots. This is his story.

Aaron’s Story — The Salesman Who Wanted to Be Tony Stark

1. What inspired you to learn to code?

I loved robots growing up. When I was young, I saw myself as Tony Stark — working with robots. Not just working but being able to build them and create them on my own.

I come from an enterprise networking background in tech sales. And I've been doing that for almost ten years. But last year, I thought now was the time to turn my childhood fantasy into reality.

2. How has your experience with coding been?

One of my biggest learnings after I began this process, was understanding and appreciating the balance between theory and practical application.

Striking that balance between learning and doing is critical, and it's also the single most important thing I appreciate about Programiz PRO — the harmony of theory and practice.

When I am writing code, I often think, "Ok, I got the right answer. But is this the best way to get this answer?" For me, both arriving at the solution and understanding the why behind that solution are equally important.

3. How has learning to code impacted your career pursuits?

I'm actively working to become a full-stack engineer as fast as possible so that I can get into the industry. My ultimate goal is to be working on autonomous vehicles, whether cars, drones, or robots; who knows!

4. Anything you'd like to share with the Programiz PRO team?

I want to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the entire Programiz team. The platform you've created is wonderful and will continue to be a step above the rest of what's out there right now.
