1. What inspired you to learn to code?
Since the beginning of my career, I've been working in the marketing field of different IT companies. Around a year ago, I intended to acquire new skills to enhance my competitiveness. And to achieve that, I considered delving into data analytics, specifically marketing analytics.
While I was aware of alternatives like using Excel, I decided against that path because it would require me to learn everything from the beginning. Instead, drawing upon my existing background in Computer Science, I chose to learn Python as my tool of choice.
2. How has your experience with coding been?
A lot of research is involved in finding the right path when learning something new. On Programiz PRO, the research work is already done by an expert in the background; all you need to do is focus on your learning. So the intuitive learning path is extremely useful.
Similarly, the interactive challenges were quite beneficial. Challenges should be easy enough so that I don't give up on those challenges, thinking they are too difficult for me to complete. But they should be hard enough that I am also growing my skills.
Programiz PRO strikes that balance, and the challenges are genuinely interactive — I could see the results of my code immediately. These practical challenges were really well thought out.
3. How has learning to code impacted your career pursuits?
Thanks to Programiz PRO, I'm currently working as the Marketing and Content Manager for a US-based SaaS company. I also serve as the marketing DRI for the entire company.
4. Anything you’d like to share with the Programiz PRO team?
I recently realized that Programiz PRO also upgrades the learning paths. That’s a commendable thing. Initially, I had completed four courses, but now they have more courses that they have upgraded, and I am really excited to enroll in those as well.
I do have a request — I hope the team will add more courses in the future related to data science and, if possible, marketing analytics.
