• 1.  What is the Monthly Challenge?

  The Monthly Challenge is a community-driven coding event where developers of all skill levels can participate by building creative Python projects. Each month features different themes and prizes, encouraging learning and innovation.

• 2.  Who can participate in the challenge?

  The challenge is open to everyone! Whether you're a complete beginner just starting with Python or an experienced developer, all skill levels are welcome. This October challenge is designed to accommodate all levels - build any kind of project: a small game, interactive app, creative generator, or anything you’d love to share.

• 3.  How do I get started?

  Simply click the Start Challenge button to access Programiz PRO Playground where you can write and test your Python code. Pick any spooky or playful idea that excites you - games, quizzes, candy calculators, haunted chatbots, or anything Halloween-inspired!

• 4.  How do I submit my project and vote?

  Project submission and voting takes place through our Discord community! Join our Discord server to submit your completed project, vote on other submissions, and see what amazing projects fellow developers are building. This creates a vibrant community where everyone can learn from each other.

• 5.  What can I win?

  This month's prizes include lifetime Programiz PRO subscriptions worth $499 for the top 3 winners! Winners also get featured on our Wall of Inspiration and homepage, giving great exposure to your work.

• 6.  What kind of projects can I submit?

  For this Halloween-themed challenge, you can build anything in Python that fits the spooky, playful, or candy theme! Ideas include: ghostly guessing games, haunted chatbots, candy calculators, spooky quizzes, or any creative project that showcases your skills.

• 7.  When is the deadline?

  The October Challenge deadline is October 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM NPT (Nepal Time). Submit your project before this time to be eligible for prizes and recognition.

• 8.  Do I need to use specific technologies?

  The only requirement is that your project must be written in Python and run on the Programiz PRO Playground. Beyond that, you’re free to use any Python libraries, frameworks, or approaches to bring your spooky or playful idea to life.
